Task was to design a carry bag for a A3 Design Portfolio and Visual diary. It Has to have a CDU Graphic Design Logo or image on the front. Other important issues that must be addressed include pockets to place pens, pencils and other art equipment. The bag should have a strap that goes over the shoulder to make caring easy. Enough room to fit folio and visual diary. Not to bulky that it makes it awkward to handle. Simplicity get rid of the unnecessary.

These folders are made out of what looks to be old broken skate boards. That are cut up and hinges attached to make these cool looking folders. This would be cool to have as a portfolio cover. Not only do they look unique and show out side that box thing, but they are practical keeping the work inside safe.

This would be something that i would look at doing having a separate case that could slide in and out of the bag. This would have a hard cover to keep work safe from damaged. Also have a zip around the out side so that work would not fall out.

Above are two A3 cases that are made out of old printing vinyl. They are made into to the bags using durable thread. They are an Australian company. I like this concept because not only does it recycle products but it has a graphic design elements and not any two of the product are the same.

This is a nice laptop case that i came across it closes to look like a book.

Simple bag designs. These are the types of bags that I would be looking at simple designs using minimal materials inexpensive.
Good solid research and insightful commentary. I'm presuming your own designs are in your Visual Diary, so please show me in class.
